Drive-in sofa by Gaële Girault (ECAL)

Pallets are usually discarded after transport, but with the Drive-in concept they become furniture pieces themselves. The objects have been created out of bamboo, a fast-growing and therefore more environmentally friendly material than basic wood. The standard cushion covers have been made of leftover Swiss Army blankets, the special cushion covers have been made by Christien Meindertsma.
